T Rex Baby Monitor

To promote the Royal Ontario Museum’s Baby T. rex exhibit, we brought prehistoric parenting to the streets of Toronto with a giant, interactive T. rex Baby Monitor. Passersby could watch a baby dino roar, nap, or break out of his crib.

As producer, I collaborated closely with the creative team and vendors to fabricate a durable, street-ready monitor that worked seamlessly in a public space. I also partnered with a director and puppeteer to develop a series of looping video clips that played inside the monitor, timed to audience interaction.

The result was a playful, attention-grabbing installation that turned heads, charmed kids and adults alike, and helped bring museum-goers face-to-face with a (very) restless baby T. rex.
